Newbie here. Love the site. Just what I need!

Hi Folks I have just found this forum and am very pleased. What a great idea I hope the site has great success.
I am an alcoholic and went to a detox unit five years ago. At that time my main motivation was so I was able to care appropriately for my elderly parents.
I fell off the wagon a few times, last year my parents both passed away. I decided this year on my Birthday it was time to be sober for me and so far so good, I am grateful for every single sober day.
